Paul O’Brien oversees GHT’s delivery of high quality services from start to finish.  Through constant communication with clients and staff, he validates project goals and ensures the design of sustainable MEP engineering solutions that balance comfort, efficiency, and purpose. Paul is focused on continuing GHT’s legacy of providing excellent customer service and encouraging a culture of doing “whatever it takes” to meet client needs.

Paul’s 25 years of experience in designing high performance systems is supported by a strong understanding of the regulatory, legal, and financial aspects of the real estate market, making him a trusted partner in achieving project goals and maximizing real estate investments. A Professional Engineer registered in 14 states and the District of Columbia, as well as a LEED Accredited Professional, Paul graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
