Frank Becker is recognized as a leader and mentor within GHT and the A/E/C industry, and is committed to sharing his expertise with colleagues and partners of all disciplines. He utilizes his holistic understanding of the development and design process to support clients in their real estate decisions. Frank’s ability to get to the source of a client’s challenges and suggest viable solutions is a key reason we have built many long-term relationships in the industry.
Frank has provided electrical engineering design for GHT’s commercial and institutional projects for more than three decades, and currently leads the firm’s efforts to provide ENERGY STAR benchmarking for commercial office buildings. A Professional Engineer registered in 20 states and the District of Columbia, Frank earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton. He is an active member of the District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA), serving as a past chair of its Electrical Code Advisory Committee, and currently sits on the District of Columbia Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) Construction Codes Coordinating Board (CCCB) Electrical Technical Advisory Group (TAG). Frank also holds Master Electrician Licenses in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
