The project team is pursuing Certification under the LEED for New Construction & Major Renovations™ rating system. Sustainable features include a custom fabricated rooftop mechanical equipment room with high-efficiency gas fired condensing boilers, variable speed drive pumps and cooling towers, plenum air handling fans with heat recovery, and special filtration systems. Individual residential units receive 100% conditioned outdoor air and have dedicated humidifiers. Additional specialized design features include kitchen exhaust systems equipped for professional-grade stoves and ovens and dryer exhaust systems that support high-efficiency residential dryers.
