The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center

The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center is the tallest building in Virginia. The 38-story, 1,000,000 SF destination is located in the Century Plaza area of Virginia Beach. Floors 5-15 are dedicated to the 236-key hotel, while the upper 22 floors are home to The Westin Residences luxury condominium building with 150 units.

The lower floors of the Town Center integrate a five-story, city-owned parking structure and conference facility into the operational amenities for residents and hotel guests. GHT provided MEP Engineering Design for all buildings, as well as the hotel’s theme restaurants, full laundry rooms, kitchens, a fitness center, indoor pool, and space for five future restaurant tenants in the Town Center. Utility systems were designed to separate the operation and metering of the hotel and residences, while allowing the buildings to share common utilities such as sanitary/storm sewer and fire alarm systems.
