Commercial Offices< back to project showcase

Chevy Chase Center

Stonebridge directed the redevelopment of an existing office and retail property into a dynamic mixed-use destination offering premier office space and high-end retailers, supported by 1,400 underground parking spaces.

The new 8-story office building features grade level retail, a gourmet food outlet, and drug store. Two new two-story retail buildings were added to the development, one with an additional floor designed as a corporate headquarters for the property owner. The project also included the renovation of an existing premier restaurant space into a freestanding building, retaining the landmark façade while maintaining business operation. A 260,000 SF multi-level parking garage was designed to span below each building and extend across a major portion of the site for ease of use.

Phase I, The Collection at Chevy Chase, was completed in the fall of 2005.  Luxury boutiques include Tiffany's, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Christian Dior, Max Mara, Polo Ralph Lauren, Cartier, Barney's Co-op, Bulgari, and Jimmy Choo. Phase II opened in May 2006, offering 200,000 SF of office space and 90,000 SF of neighborhood retail anchored by a Giant grocery store. Additional retailers include Lacoste, Papyrus, Chevy Chase Bank, Eagle Bank, Potomac Pizza, and Sushi Ko.
