The mechanical system features a low-temp, penthouse air handling unit (AHU) delivering 48F supply, distributed with low-profile fan-powered variable air volume (VAV) to deliver 52F supply. IT rooms are cooled with two-ton chilled water units, and the large server room is cooled with redundant 14-ton chilled water units. The PH unit has active monitoring controls.
Electrical design features include occupancy sensors for all spaces; full electrical server room design with UPS backed up servers and multi-floor interaction; and fire alarm pre-action protection for all server rooms.
