Founded in 1965 by Goodwin "Goodie" Hunt Taylor, GHT Limited began as an MEP engineering firm with a focus on office buildings, schools and government contracts -- including work at the White House and the Pentagon. Over the years which followed, GHT grew steadily, while weathering uncertain economies and enduring adversities that only proved the company’s strength. The 1980’s saw GHT swell to more than 100 employees, and while a recession in the early 1990’s tested the firm and forced a marked reduction in staff, GHT survived while many competitors did not. As the mid-1990’s approached, GHT began to expand its service offerings beyond traditional MEP work -- offering clients a broader range of services to solve their increasingly complex problems. With an expansion into two branch offices in 1999 and 2000 and a continued focus to expanding to meet customers’ needs, GHT continues its history of responding to the changing marketplace to remain the source for the high-caliber engineering solutions that our clients demand.
